So I'm back on board!!!! I got back to the ship about a week ago and things have been slowly ramping up. I have taken on a new challenge this year. I have become the screening coordinator. I will have the opportunity to go out to the hospitals and pre screen patients to come back to the ship and be seen by the surgeons. I will also be responsibility for giving support for a mobile screening unit and coordinating with some of the various doctors in the area to have patients that the ship may be able to help. This is really exciting for me to be able to see so many of the patients first hand and assist the surgeons in finding patients that we can help.
We will be sailing to Togo, the country beside Benin in a week or so. Surgeries will begin a few weeks after we arrive. Please pray that God will begin to bring the patients that he wants us to see to the screenings and that He will give our doctors wisdom in their evaluations.
I'll let you know as more happens.

Hi. I wanted to say hi as I will be joining the ship in a little over 2 weeks as the videographer. It is good to see other women my age serving aboard the ship!
I am sure we will meet once I am on board.
